These terms apply to all services booked with Dietwell Plumbing & Electrical Sdn Bhd (Reg. No. 202301052147 (1544218-P)), whether arranged by phone, WhatsApp, email or the booking form on this website. By confirming a booking you accept them.
1. Bookings and time windows
We confirm every booking with a date and an arrival window. Windows are estimates; where an earlier job overruns we will inform you as soon as we know. You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 2 hours before the window begins.
2. Quotations
Verbal ballparks given before inspection are indicative only. The binding price is the written quotation issued after on-site diagnosis, covering labour, parts and debris removal unless stated otherwise. A quotation stays valid for 14 days. If we discover additional faults during the work, we stop and quote separately — the original price does not change without your approval.
3. Diagnostic fee
If you decline the quotation after diagnosis, a callout and diagnostic fee stated at booking time applies. The fee is waived in full when you proceed with the quoted work.
4. Payment
Payment is due on completion, after you have inspected and tested the work with our technician. We accept cash, DuitNow transfer, Touch 'n Go eWallet and major cards. Installations above RM2,000 may require a 50% deposit for parts.
5. Warranty
Workmanship is warranted for 90 days on repairs and 12 months on new installations, from the invoice date. The warranty covers the specific work performed and excludes: faults in customer-supplied parts, damage from misuse or third-party alteration, blockages caused by new material entering a cleared drain, and wear items such as washers on unrelated fixtures. Manufacturer warranties on supplied equipment pass to you and run in parallel.
6. Access and site conditions
You agree to provide safe access to the work area, running water and electricity where needed, and to inform us of known hazards (asbestos, unlabelled live circuits, structural issues). We may pause work where conditions are unsafe until they are resolved.
7. Liability
We carry public liability insurance and make good any damage caused by our negligence. We are not liable for pre-existing defects, consequential losses, or the condition of concealed pipework and wiring beyond the sections we worked on. Nothing in these terms limits rights granted by the Consumer Protection Act 1999.
8. Disputes
Raise any concern within 7 days of job completion at [email protected] and we will make it right or explain the finding. Unresolved disputes fall under Malaysian law and the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts, including the Tribunal for Consumer Claims where applicable.
